It does for me on Linux.

if you see issues, could you elaborate more, preferably with a bug 
report on http://bugs.owncloud.org ?

Two things I remember were mentioned recently on the list which might 
give a hint:
- Sabre with LDAP Auth seems to have issues
- To make Windows 7 to connect, registry changes are needed:
   http://nwlinux.com/connect-webdav-in-windows-7/
