Well, from an FOSS point of view we must not switch to Github.

If we as community profit with a wider spread, ideally more contributors 
and more sponsoring for e.g. Dev Sprints basically only by using 
backticks around identifiers (and maybe Jörn fixing an incompatible 
query now or then) that sounds OKish to me.
