That's completely unrelated for the proxy and not a bug.

The log you sent in the other mail tells us that there is an "Unknown 
Network Error" reported by the underlying system. Not sure what that 
means in your case.

Guesses: Maybe you have a firewall not allowing the port to the proxy?
