[Owncloud] appswebroot path issue

I am using the following line in a css:
background: url('%appswebroot%/apps/news/img/rss.svg')

What I get is that the image is not displayed and Firebug raises the
following error:
"NetworkError: 404 Not Found -
http://localhost/owncloud/apps/apps/news/img/rss.svg"

It used to work on stable4. Did anything change with the path of
appswebroot in master?
