Yes. OSX encodes UTF-8 in filenames differently, than Linux. If you have,
let's say, an "ü" and compare the byte sequence, you'll find a difference.
Now, if you'd want the user to see the "ü" as the "ü" on all systems in a
proper way, you've got something to think about-
