@ Daniel: That's seen from the user's point of view (which is IMHO in
most cases the most important aspect). On the developer's side it comes
to several problems: Libredocs/Etherpad uses a different server-side
technique (node.js) than ownCloud, which uses php, that limits the
possibilities when it comes to real time client/server communication.
But we're not the first thinking about comet/websockets on PHP based
servers...
Maybe there's something possible with websockets and this project:
