Hi Antonio,

Riccardo and I had evaluated horde , mooha and also phpsyncML server (
http://phpsyncml.sourceforge.net/) the first two are
tied to using a database as the backend.

Our job right now is to get a file synchronization mechanism into owncloud
and since phpsyncML provides a file based backend
and the library itself is standalone and very easy to understand. We are
sticking to that for the moment.

That said, our work on the client is server agnostic, so in the future if we
decide to use horde or mooha , it should not be
very difficult.

Thanks for taking the time to evaluate and suggest the syncML servers.
