[Owncloud] ownsync, existing?

Hi everybody,
first of all, I'm new to this list and owncloud is great software!
I also think that file syncing functionality is the only big part really missing oc. I really like the idea of sparkleshare as Mario already mentioned. The best thing about it is that you get revision control for free as git is used as a backend.
Are there plans for the future to make this possible in owncloud as well? Maybe the approach of using a revision control system as a backend would be also a good idea for oc (I really like fossil a lot)? Most probably this was already discussed earlier, but as I am new here it would be great if somebody could enlighten me about this please? If oc would also support revision control systems as backends, software like sparkleshare could be integrated even easier.
I also really like Juan Carlos' application (could you please make it available somewhere?). I think qt is a good choice as a framework, personally I don't like mono that much (what sparkelshare builds on).
Also thanks for your script Dorian (and starting this thread)!
I really hope this topic gets addressed more in oc, as this (dropbox functionality) is what I think people use the most in public clouds nowadays.
Thanks again for working on this great software.
Stephan
