Taufeeque Sifat implemented line selection via triple click. This was merged in
https://invent.kde.org/graphics/okular/-/commit/245f538764ef62d8ecd2d321d3bb2b2e18ffe16d
- if I'm not mistaken, that should be released with KDE Gear 26.08 in a few
months.

I'm half tempted to close this bug as resolved, because it's really two
distinct (though related) wishlist items in one, and they should be tracked in
separate bug reports ideally. Perhaps the double-click-and-drag request could
be opened as a new, single-purpose bug and then we'll close this one?
