I'm on libpoppler 26.01.0, I'm guessing that includes the aforementioned bugfix
and can confirm that it reduces the scope. In my original bugreport #476436 the
screenshots I provided show the 'Anschrift' text field not allowing umlaute.
This is now fixed. Also works in the 'Name' field of the document I had
attached to that bugreport.

However, it does not work for the text field titled 'Unterschrift'. That one
still behaves exactly like described originally. ø becomes a weird cross and
german umlaute are not rendered at all.
