since I'm fixing some bugs in markdown generator I could look at this one.

todo:
[]show the alt text in a tooltip
[]if link isn't a url and doesn't start with '#' then assume its alt text (and
show in tooltip)
[]while I'm at it: if there is no alt text then the tooltip should say "Go to
<url> or anchorname"
[]anything else
