Someone should probably open an issue upstream for Qt and describe it well
enough or even better open a MR :)

Likely it's not a bad idea to track wishes for Qt implementations, which
benefit the whole Plasma ecosystem somewhere at a common place, like on a wiki
page on https://community.kde.org/.
