attempting to print non-consecutive pages of a
document.
Classification: Applications
Product: okular
Version: 23.08.1
Platform: Microsoft Windows
OS: Microsoft Windows
Status: REPORTED
Severity: major
Priority: NOR
Component: printing

Okular print dialog returns "something went wrong" when attempting to print
non-sequential pages of a document
SUMMARY
Print dialog box returns "something went wrong" when attempting to print
non-consecutive pages within a document and the requested pages do not print.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click Print
2. Click page range
3. Enter pages 1,3
4. Click Print
5. Result is the above 100% of the time.
OBSERVED RESULT
Dialog box returns "something went wrong" and the document does not print.
Okular will not print non-sequential pages. For example: print range selected
is 1,3,5...dialog returns "something went wrong" and the selection does not
print. I have successfully used other PDF software to print my selected pages
instead.
EXPECTED RESULT
I expect the pages I request in the "page range" of the print dialog box to
print. Okular does not meet that simple expectation.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 11 Home. Okular downloaded and installed from the Microsoft App
Store
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Non-sequential pages can be printed from the same file using other pdf program.
I have restarted Okular, re-booted Windows, and uninstalled / reinstalled
Okular from the Microsoft App Store with no resolution of this issue.
