I'm reading a two-column pdf
(https://dl.acm.org/doi/pdf/10.1145/3477113.3487272), for which the selection
still doesn't work properly.

Okular Version: 23.08.5
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.10
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0
Qt Version: 5.15.12

Is there any chance to further improve the column recognition algorithm?
