Indeed, the functionality is available in the Menu: Go/Back.

I somehow missed this functionality. Maybe because you still need to scroll a
little bit (the link is not perfect in some articles).

Although, the requested functionality is still usefull:
- as a "Back" arrow/button on the navigation toolbar (as the title sugests);
- this "Back" button should store the last position before clicking a link (a
reference-link, but may be useful for other links as well);
