Okular fails to draw smooth text's outlines with Poppler backend

Okular, with Poppler as backend, seems to generate bad outlines for many fonts,
I tested the same file with MuPDF backend but it looks fine with it. I raised
the bug to Poppler and they told me to generate ppm from pdf file using
pdftoppm tool then verify the output, and it seems Poppler generates correctly
the outlines. See attached files for more info.
