Bug ID: 454315
Summary: Images by copying a rectangular selection is partially
blank when the selection is outside initial screen
Product: okular
Version: 20.12.0
Platform: Mageia RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: okular-devel at kde.org
Reporter: yves.brungard_mageia at gadz.org
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
I select a rectangular zone which is wider than the displayed window, thus by
placing the cursor beyond the border, the selection is displaced to select a
larger zone.
However, in this case, the image is not (always) complete. The vertical band
that was masked is not copied, it is blank. In the same time, the masked part
beyond the horizontal border is present. The image size is the one expected.
I know that I could reduce the zoom to have all the image already displayed,
but in this case, the resolution is not so optimal.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: 20.12.0
KDE Frameworks 5.76.0
Qt 5.15.2
