hello,
I'm on Mageia8
the problem was solved, we updated Poppler and the appropriate libraries,
and... it works
  lib64poppler105
  lib64poppler-glib8
  lib64poppler-gir0.18
  poppler
  lib64poppler-cpp0
  lib64poppler-qt5_1
And since the barcodes are well printed
