Some PDF documents only display white pages. The pages are of correct size, but
always just pure white. They seem to display just fine with xpdf thou.

Most (but not all) of the other volumes of the Jewish Encyclopedia on Wikimedia
Commons seems to produce the same issue.

I've seen similar issues with scanned documents from other sources as well.
