Cannot confirm the bug here. Everything is rendered as it should with
Liberation fonts for Helvetica and Times (not embedded into the file).

What is shown on the "File->Properties->Fonts" tab for Helvetica and Times?

Can you install Liberation fonts or MS proprietary Helvetica and Times fonts
and try again?
