They are not close-minded.  But none of the current Okular contributors has a lot
of time to spend on Okular, and then small incremental changes to an existing,
working code are easier than starting from scratch again.

Besides, from a *user* point of view I don't find the argument that Okular shouldn't
be an editor not really convincing.
