But this is like a trick, You should create a "Typewriter" annotation, right
click and then in the properties change the font. That changed font will apply
to other annotations such as Pop-UP Note. 

However, you can not access this menu from the Pop-up Note or Highlighter.
While I achieved what I wanted I think this font menu should be accessible in
the properties of all annotation tools not just particular one.
