I have added a PDF file with some pictures to explain the case.
But let me answer also on the questions.
1) If I understood correctly, the original document (or part of it) is enlarged
in some way so that not all of it fits on paper any more. Is this correct?

    Yes, this is correct.

(To my knowledge, documents are usually scaled to fit on the page, so while
this might involve enlargement - s.a. bug 336617 - this should not cause any
content to disappear).

2) Does it happen for all documents or just specific ones? Can you please
attach a sample document that demonstrates the issue?

As far I have checked it happen on all documents. But had no chance to check it
on many hardware printers.

3) What is the original document size and what is the page size you are
printing to?
