Bug ID: 382858
Summary: PDF form bug in displaying popdown boxes
Product: okular
Version: 1.1.0
Platform: Manjaro
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: PDF backend
Assignee: okular-devel at kde.org
Reporter: uwestoehr at lyx.org
Target Milestone: ---
attachment 106922 is a PDF form I created with the latest pdflatex. It fulfils
the PDF form specification as is used as reference PDF for for the program LyX.
The PDF looks and works fine using Adobe Reader under windows. Under Linux
using Okular 1.1.3 there are several bugs. (attachment 106923 is the TeX source
code of the form.)
This report is abut dependent checkboxes:
- open the PDF and go to sec. 2.3 and there to the 2nd section Country.
- try to select there country Armenia
result: The vertical scrollbar cannot be used to scroll down to Armenia. The
only way is to click on Albania and then use the down arrow key on the
keyboard.
Moreover the popdown box is incorrectly drawn. Its size was chosen to display
all 3 entries of the list and in Adobe Reader it appears correctly with this
size. Okular only displays the first entry.
Another issue: Okular preselected already the first list entry "Albania". This
is incorrect because the form was designed not to preselect an entry of the
list, see also its TeX source code. Again Adobe Reader does this correct.
