It should be a global KDE notification option.

Can you try to open System Settings (KDE 4 but similar thing should work for
KF5), then go to "Application and System Notification", then "Notification
MAnagement", then "KDE Workspace" from drop-down list, then uncheck
"Textcompletion: No Match"?
