            Bug ID: 348172
Summary: Scaling options missing in print dialog
           Product: okular
           Version: 0.21.3
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: printing
          Assignee: okular-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: pascal+kde at niklaus.org

This relates to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=347631. I now resubmit two
separate bug reports as requested.

I am not sure whether it is related to okular or QPrinter.

The print dialogue lacks options to either
1) shrink PDF pages to paper size
2) enlarge to fit paper size
3) print at 100% scale.

Reasons:

1) and 2): When printing text documents, one often wants to use the entire page
area. Otherwise, it will be impossible to print content that is much smaller or
larger than the printer's paper size.

3) Some documents need to be printed at 100% scale (e.g. technical drawings
with defined scale).

These options were present in KPrinter4, but "disappeared" from KDE5.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Does not apply

I classify this as a bug, because

1) as a result, it is impossible to print some documents in a usable way, which
IMO is a core functionality of a PDF viewer

2) From a user point of view, this seems like a regression in terms of feature
set available. KDE4 provided these options.
