Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Obtain the pdf of "an introduction to formal logic" by peter smith, 7th
print
2. Open it

Actual Results:  
Weird characters are padded at the end of each entry of table of contents.

Expected Results:  
There should be no weird characters at the end.
