Yep, you have not cancelled the search so it will continue, you have to press
esc with the search panel closed  to cancel the previous search (as i mentioned
already)

By the way next time you do some detailed steps, give them better detailed,
after 1 i can't do 2, you have to say you oepn the search pane, how do you do
that, ctrl+f, menu, etc. That is what people want when asking for detailed
instructions
