@fglopez I'm assuming you meant the other way around in your pictures, because
i don't see a dark/black background in fullscreen and i have a grey background.

One usecase is when i view a document in inverted colors mode ( a.k.a. night
mode ) , the grey background sometimes is a distraction, defeats the overall
purpose and spoils the experience.
