Downloading the file and opening it in okular worked fine when the problem was
occurring, but I cannot reproduce it any more. I'm not confident I can get it
to happen again. I did delete the kde cache, maybe that fixed it, or maybe it
just went away with time.

I'm on Okular Version 0.19.3.
