Yes, I have realized that. I don't expect anyone to fix the bug in the version
of Okular that I  currently use, but I would like to make sure it is fixed in a
version that I and others will use in future. I know that Debian is quite
extreme in how many versions behind the bleeding edge it is, but I have read
many bug reports by people who were at least one or two versions of KDE behind
the most recent one. Unless you use a bleeding edge distro like Arch or compile
KDE yourself, you're bound to be a bit behind. If the developers ignore all bug
reports by people who don't use the newest version, there will be very few
users left to report bugs. That can't be good for the quality of the software,
can it?
