Seems your printer is not compatible with the PS we (actually poppler(the
library we use for pdf handling) not us) output, I'd sincerely suggest
contacting the manufacturer of printer and speaking to them about it.

If you know how to compile/program stuff you may want to try to see what
changed in poppler between the version used in Kubuntu 12.04 to the one in
Kubuntu 12.10 that made your printer angry.

Give me a shout if you want to try to debug that.
