Okular BoF

ReviewBoard
 - Implement the handling of page rotations for source references
  - Albert does not understand

 - Annotation eraser
  - Cool! Needs work on undo/redo

 - Get background color from KColorScheme (kde system settings) basically for EPub
  - Workaround
  - Should be fixed in Jaydep?? epub branch

 - Tabbed interface
  - Albert doesn't like it, but has been saying we'll have a look at the patches if someone does them

 - Add option to show table of contents in sidebar on startup (if present) instead of thumbnails
  - Mailson/Patrick think it's a good idea to show the TOC if there's one but don't like the checkbox (try to follow PDF flags that say which of the TOC/thumbnails/etc should be shown)

 - Make TextDocument_Generator Threaded
  - Cool!
  - Do some testing to make sure it's really thread-safe and it's not crashing randomly

 - Selection tool: copy/extract as vector graphic by calling "pdftocairo"
  - API for backend supporting selection-svg-export
  - Dialog with cancel button except waiting 1 second

 - Best-fit zoom
  - People have spoken: Yes!
  - Help with the settings problem he's having

 - SVG support for Epubs
  - Seems good, do some review and ask for a test

Epub GSOC
 - tried webkit, good rendering, can't get text back -> BOOO
 - Back on libepub/qtextdocument, doing fixes there
 - Patrick says it'd be cool to have a suite of documents to try
 - Albert says ongoing work on epub-unittests+free doc finding is happening

File a bug about trying to make sure we don't open the same file twice because that's going to make annotations hard (or at least disable annotations on the non-first one)

Fabio started to design new library that supports parallel rendering of more than one pixmap at the same time (provided the backend supports it (e.g. you need a new enough poppler for pdf)), reusable for other applications, eases tile management from apps. For 4.12 we'll have it inside the Okular and then if there is interest for people to reuse the library we can split it out somewhere.

Mailson will forward a mail to the list about article-references

Saving stuff silently to ~/.kde/share/apps/okular/docdata/
 - Think about the possibility of adding the option of not saving data directly to the file, only explicitly.
 - Think about the possibility of adding a "metadata manager"
so people can "clean up" their stuff

Printing is *blocking*
 - Fix the API in Document+Generator so that it's not returning a bool but 'returning' a signal

Try to see how hard is to get calligra backend to be non odp-specific so it can open .doc et al

Possible sprint in Barcelona if get money and agree on dates
