OK, I at least for my purpose the issue is fixed. It was a probably an issue
due to upgrading from 4.8.5 to .4.9.0. Because of other issues with 4.9 I have
simply removed my .kde4 and started a complete new set and many of my problems
are now solved. Also my inverse search is now working again. 

So, I think you can remove the bug.
