            Bug ID: 309901
          Severity: wishlist
           Version: 0.15.3
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: okular-devel at kde.org
Summary: Cancel table selection when clicking outside the table
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: kde at privat.broulik.de
          Hardware: Other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: okular

Thanks for that awesome table selection, makes copying stuff out of PDF tables
really really easy and straight forward, However:

Exiting the table selection mode is not really intuitive. The info bar gives a
hint to press Escape but I think when you click outside the selected area, it
should cancel the selection. Especially when you moved to another page you find
yourself unable to select something as there is a selection somewhere else
going on. Usually you can do a new selection when starting to drag outside the
selected area. This does not work with the table selection tool.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use table selection tool (Ctrl+5)
2. Select something
3. Try to select something else or desperately to exit the selection mode ;)
Actual Results:
You have to press Esc to leave the selection mode in order to start a new
selection

Expected Results:
The selection exits when you click outside the selection, or a new selection
starts when starting to drag outside the selection.
