Well, i'm the developer of the application, you don't play changing but
permissions with me just because you feel like. If you have proof it's not
fixed in KDE 4.9 with poppler >= 0.20 then reopen the bug, but until then there
is no bug.

First because what you get is the *documented* behaviour, second because an
alternative will be provided with KDE 4.9 and poppler >= 0.20
