Albert: Just a bit of information how these files are generated. The author of
a document creates the .tex file, and then runs LaTeX on it. That creates the
output .pdf file together with the .synctex.gz. With editors such as kile the
author can point to a certain position in the .tex file, and okular should open
the .pdf file at the corresponding page.
