The exact SUSE package version I'm using:
okular-4.6.0-6.11.1.x86_64

Also I'm not sure if this is related but around the same time I noticed a
strange cross talk between okular instances:

If I change from [view mode:single page] to [view mode:overview] in one
instance then the view mode in all instances changes (ie what you see changes)
even though in the other instances the view mode still says "single page".
