I'm using Ubuntu natty 64. Athlon II X2 215, 4GB Ram and nvidia 9500GT graphics
with proprietary driver.
When writing the steps above I already had a zoomlevel set in a previous
attempt. It was configured to 300%. Evince and other linux pdf-readers are not
working any better, but the Adobe Acrobat Reader for Windows does.
