Had several PDF files open  (12?).  Was reading one, but pages below about p. 8
displayed blank on the main screen while miniatures in the index panel showed
content. 

I believe one of the files came from microsoft.com.  Okular previously crashed
while reading that document (a data sheet on Lync VoIP system).  <doing
research;  no intention to install  :-)

On a notebook running openSuse 11.3 and KDE 4.4.4


The crash can be reproduced some of the time.
