i went through and tested the rest of my ebooks in epub format and it's just 3
particular books that are causing the crashes.

I'll can mark this as resolved due to a corrupt epub file (although the 3
specific files do open in other readers such as Calibre and FBReader).

i really should have tested this more before submitting the bug report. SORRY!
