Ah, alright.  Perhaps an easier way to hide the sidebar _and_ TOC is
in order?  I usually have 4-5 PDFs open at once, so screen space is an
issue.  I'm sure many other college students fit under this use case.

That, or an option in the preferences dialog to toggle this behaviour.
