I remember when this bug was first reported some 2 years ago.  I was hoping
this would have been fixed in KDE 4.5 but it wasn't.  Now I come to see the bug
report with a huge discussion, flame wars, etc.  That's sad.

The issue is simple: allow us to hide the bottom bar.  Allow us to do it in
Full Screen mode too.  Presentation mode doesn't work for me because
Presentation Mode doesn't trim margins, even if it is selected.

So that's it.  It's very simple.  Technically, it may not be so simple, but
people have suggested way so doing it, and some have even posted patches.  So
what's the real hold-up?  Is it technical?  Is it political?  Let's work over
these problems and let's get this merged in 4.5.1!
