This is getting depressing...

I'm using the latest okular that is available to me without compiling it from
source. If I started doing that I'd be running make && make install 24/7.

If bugs are reported at the distributors bugzilla, quite often what you hear is
"please report upstream". There (here) you get told "not to use old software".

This is not exactly encouraging to do any bug reports at all.
