It's called even, not equal.

This is a development list so the answer is obvious: If you are going to put 
development resources behind it sooner that if you do not.

If you want to start working you can start trying to convince the Qt 
development team that this is a feature their printing system should have, 
after that we can talk of implementing it on Okular.
