Two tests to do:

1) try to open the recent file #10 (see entry File10[$e] in the okularrc) in
kwrite (yes, even if it is a PDF, just take care to not edit it), and see
whether the same problem happens in kwrite's recent files menu

2) run just okular with another style (eg `okular -style plastique`), and see
whether the menu is painted correctly
