Well, I confirm that the bug is fixed. I'm installed Kubuntu, karmic koala.
I have Okular version 0.8.80 with KDE 4.2.85 (KDE 4.2.85 (KDE 4.3 Beta1)), and
no more crashes ... 

I could probably offer you a beer at next fosdem :)
