The Ark guys recently had huge problems with the non-free unace command-line
decompressor (bug #192925), especially that unace can trunc file names when
decompressing/testing an archive (thus making the reading of the file list
unpredictable).
On the other hand, the free unace decompressor stops at an old version of ACE,
which I suppose is no more widely used among ACE users... (looks like the same
situation with RAR, sigh) so it is mostly unuseful.

I'm almost inclined to reject the bug, but for technical reasons.
