i experinece that from kile, after building okular is openden to show the
generated pdf. printing fails.
starting and trying to print manually from console does work.

apparently communication between kile and okular isn't that well. since kpdf
works, i am inclined to think okular has issues here.

a more informative error message is in order -- something like "file not found"
or "pipe broken" would help already.
