Hi,

Okular displays large or complex PDF files quite slow on my computer (AMD64 X2
4200+, 2 GB RAM, Geforce 6600 GT with nvidia drivers). For a complex file see
the file "uestra.de_Hannover_2009.pdf" that is a map of public transport that
seems to have a lot of vector data. Okular does display it very slowly. Adobe
Reader 9.1 display is faster.

Another example is a PDF file is an advertising with a lot of bitmap data:
"mediamarkt.de_prospekt.pdf". Here Adobe Reader 9.1 is slower but even still
faster than Okular.

What do you think? Can Okular display is faster? Maybe using another CPU core
using multithreading?

TIA  Martin
